The name Vulcan for our company originates from the Roman god of rocks, a figure found in numerous mythologies worldwide. Alongside being associated with mountains, these gods of rocks and mountains possess the power to manipulate rocks as they desire.

Aslam has 25 years of international experience working with over 30 countries in Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the US. Aslam has Big 4, Plc and family-run business experience. He has a wide array of industry experience spanning the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors. He is a multi-award winner and has been working in the precious metals sector for a decade.
Tony is a mining professional who holds a Master’s Degree in Project Management and delivers over 31 years of experience in open pit operations, executive management and the leadership of mines and mining projects. Tony’s leadership roles have included reporting to the Boards and Managing Directors of mining companies. Tony has gained experience with top tiers including BHP, BMA, Kinross, Glencore, Mitsubishi, Lafarge, Leighton, Redback and Teranga.
Norm is an accredited Chartered Professional Geologist and Manager through the AusIMM and Geol Soc. UK, and a fellow of IOM3 UK. He is competent person under JORC / 43-101 criteria with 33 years’ experience in gold mining and exploration and recognised to report to the international markets. Norm has +40 Moz Au in resource discovery across his career from global orogenic gold mines such as Tasiast, Obuasi, Chirano, Ayanfuri, Tanjianshan, Tucano, Sukari, Galat Safur, Kone, Doropo, Sanankoro, Bankan and most recently with HS/LS Epithermal and Carlin-style in Nevada.
Anu, a seasoned multilingual legal expert, is a Mauritius qualified as a notary public, currently based in the UK. With over two decades of experience, she specializes in real estate transactions, contract law, and compliance. Anu has provided strategic counsel to clients from various jurisdictions, including the UK, Mauritius, India, South Africa, Dubai, and France. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of legal intricacies, Anu excels in advising on residential and commercial contracts while ensuring compliance, KYC with anti-money laundering measures.
With over 25 years of extensive experience in the dynamic markets of Africa, Europe, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Iraq , Amal is a seasoned Business Development Manager known for driving growth and fostering strategic partnerships across diverse industries. She has a proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, optimizing market entry strategies, and delivering sustainable revenue increases. Her expertise spans across sectors such as telecommunications, finance, infrastructure, engineering consultancy, energy construction, and project management where she successfully led cross-functional teams and managed multi-million-dollar projects.
Paul is a mining professional with over 33 years in operations, he has a BSc in Metallurgy and has managed processing plants, and multiple commodities internationally with a focus in West Africa, and Australia. Paul has carried out multiple commissioning and project builds to add value to process operations and provide leadership of operations. Paul has gained experience with operating sites, such as LeoLithium Mali, King of the Hill Gold Mine Australia, Sukari Gold Mine Egypt, SDGM Australia, Tasiast Gold mine, Chirano Gold mine, and multiple other operations.
Senior exploration and resources geologist with 17 years of experience in gold plus base metals and working on grassroots, advanced stage mining projects, my goal is to contribute to the safe mining industry by discovering of world-class mineral deposits and conducting best extraction practices. I am also engaged to help to locals who are interested to invest in the mining projects from the small scale to the big scale in the exploration as well as in the production. I am a hard worker and like the challenges.
André Pieters is a seasoned professional with 30 years of experience driving ESG compliance and sustainability solutions across a diverse range of sectors, including mining, rail and port infrastructure, commercial and retail property development, telecommunications, and coastal restoration, throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. Renowned for his strategic vision and hands-on leadership, André has played a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive processes and systems that ensure regulatory compliance and responsible international best practices.
Throughout his distinguished career, André contributed to a wide variety of operational and capital projects in advisory, support, specialist, consulting, and management roles, consistently delivering value and fostering sustainable progress in every engagement.

Moussa is a Mineral Exploration Professional who holds a Master’s Degree in Fundamental and Applied Geology from the University of Ouagadougou. He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and has over 25 years’ experience in mineral exploration and mining across West & East Africa, Europe, North America and Western Australia. Executive in Exploration, he is a competent person under JORC/NI43-101. He is a gold finder geologist with +20 Moz in mineral resources discoveries in orogenic Gold Mines in Proterozoic and Archean terrains such as Bombore, Karma, Hounde, Chirano, Tasiast, Granny Smith, Nyanzaga. Moussa’s leadership experience covers growth through game-changing solutions such as identification of valuable ounces, major acquisition/merger deals on high margins opportunities, and in Continuous Improvement (identification of cost-effective opportunities). Moussa has worked in the top tiers such as Barrick Gold, Kinross Gold Corporation and Endeavour Mining.
Dofinta is a Mineral Exploration Professional with a Master's degree in Fundamental and Applied Geology from the University of Ouagadougou. He has 30 years of experience in mineral exploration across West Africa (Burkina, Guinee, Niger, etc...). A senior executive in Exploration, he is a gold-finding geologist with +10 Moz accumulated in mineral resource discoveries in orogenic gold mines on Proterozoic terrains such as Mana. Dofinta's experience and leadership covers the rigorous monitoring of mining permits, the targeting of areas with high gold potential, occupational safety including work procedures, ISO certification processes, etc., the implementation of policies, strategies and the implementation of best practices in the fields of occupational safety, corporate social responsibility, environmental studies, etc. Dofinta has worked in international mining companies such as Semafo and Endeavour Mining.
Malicka is a business executive who holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Management from the University of Limoges (France) and a Master's degree in Management Sciences in 1995 from the University of Ouagadougou. She has over 25 years of experience in business management across West Africa and France. Malicka acquired her experience in companies such as the Commercial Bank of Burkina Faso (BCB), the Panaudit Accounting Firm, the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) and WEP NET where she was Commercial Director before creating her own company Générale de la Gastronomie (GEGA) of which she is the Chief Executive Officer. The GEGA Group has become the champion of Catering in West Africa. Malicka joins Yennenga with this exceptional experience to make Yennenga Resources "the partner of choice" for local authorities.
Soumaila studied at the University of Ouagadougou, from where he obtained a Master of Science in Management in 1996. His professional career began with management roles in two development aid NGOs, Pharmacists Without Borders and Aide Odontologie Internationale, where he worked from 1996 to 2002. He headed the Bureau d'Informatique et de Gestion (BIG), a new company operating in the IT and business management consulting sector.
Before joining Yennenga, Soumaila SAMANDOULOUGOU was the administrator of a property and casualty insurance agency of the Colina Assurance Company, now known as SANLAM BURKINA FASO
Aguibou holds an Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Projects Management and Business Management from the University Gamal Abdel Nasser – Conakry (Guinea) in 1994. He has over 25 years of experience in Internal Audit, Program Coordinator and business management across Guinea. Aguibou acquired his experience in organizations such as Plan International Guinée where he move from Program Coordinator to Manager Department of Quality Assurance and Risk Management then Regional Risk Management Trainer in Dakar (Senegal).
Aguibou extensive experience dealing with local communities covers Programme and Project Management for the National Council of Guinean Civil Society Organizations (CNOSCG) for three years and coordinating the Government response to the Ebola out brake in several prefectures. Before his current position for Yennenga Resources, Aguibou worked for the Government of Guinea as Risk and Compliance Management Consultant in the Ministry of Transport Guinean Shippers' Council (CGC SARL) and Project Management Consultant for the National Coordination of Sanitation Actors of Guinea (CONAAG)
